Booking & Service Terms
The written quote controls the exact scope of each project. These general terms explain what is confirmed before a shoot is booked.
Inquiry and confirmation
A form submission, email, call or feasibility response is an inquiry—not a confirmed booking. A project is confirmed only after the scope, date, price, payment schedule and any required acceptance or deposit are stated in writing and accepted.
Airspace review is included; required authorization requests are handled as confirmed in the quote. An authorization cannot be guaranteed because approval depends on the location, date, time, aircraft, route and responsible authority.
Deposits and payment
If a deposit is required to reserve production time, the amount, due date, remaining balance and accepted payment method will appear in the quote. A date is not held until any stated confirmation requirements are completed. Approved third-party expenses or location costs are identified before they are incurred whenever practical.
Weather, safety and rescheduling
Drone work depends on suitable weather, visibility, site access, airspace, people nearby, equipment status and safe operating conditions. Tim may delay, change or stop a flight when conditions are unsuitable or the planned operation cannot be completed safely or lawfully.
Weather-related rescheduling and any effect on timing or third-party expenses will be handled according to the written quote. A changed creative preference is not treated as a weather cancellation.
Cancellation and access
The quote will state any project-specific cancellation window, rescheduling terms and treatment of a deposit. Work already completed and approved non-recoverable expenses may remain payable. The client is responsible for accurate site information, property access and permissions that the quote assigns to the client.
Delivery and revisions
The quote confirms the deliverables, formats, quantities, expected delivery range and included revisions. Delivery timing begins after the shoot and after any client-supplied assets or approvals needed for editing are received. New requests, additional versions or changes outside the confirmed scope may require a revised quote.
Raw footage
Raw footage is included only when the written quote says it is included. The quote may specify file type, transfer method, storage window and any additional preparation or transfer cost. Project files are not guaranteed to be stored indefinitely after final delivery.
Usage rights and releases
The written quote confirms where the finished content may be used, such as a website, organic social media, listings, internal reporting or paid advertising. Unless a written transfer says otherwise, TimOnTheWing retains copyright and grants the agreed usage permission after required payment is received.
The client is responsible for rights, releases and permissions relating to client-supplied music, logos, locations, performers, staff or other materials unless the quote assigns that work to TimOnTheWing.
Equipment and rental arrangements
A production booking does not include a standalone equipment rental unless the quote expressly says so. If equipment rental or client custody is separately arranged, written terms will confirm the equipment, condition, pickup and return, permitted use, responsibility for loss or damage and any deposit.
